Caregivers are a hospital's greatest resource: the highly skilled nurse who provides emotional and physical support to those in pain; the housekeeper whose work creates comfort and order in an often uncertain environment; the pharmacist who ensures the right medication and stops by a room to educate the patient and family about its safe use. These are the real faces of America's hospitals, and they make us the best health care system in the world.
